Les did a great job in fleshing out and jotting down a lot of the specific ideas that he and I talked about on the long drive home (it also helped us stay awake on the road!).

Les covered a lot of the particulars; I thought it would be helpful to recap the general discussion and observations we had that got us to these specific recommendations.

Improvements for Lone Star
Hey guys,
Once again, awesome job at Bayou. You guys went out and showed everyone that we a great bot and can compete with anyone. I was reading Les's email and it got me thinking of an idea. In Les's email he was suggesting that you guys try to hang and I drew up a design. (sorry, I don't own a ruler. lol) I also took it a step further. I think if you can successfully hang the way I suggest, you could add a bar on to the robot that would allow someone else to hang off of you. If you are successful with that, I'm pretty sure it would make you more attractive to a lot of teams. I don't know if this will work but it's just a suggestion. Oh, also, this would allow you to hang from on the bump, in case getting stuck happens again, at least you'll be able to hang.
