Team Organization

Build Team

Our build team is in charge of designing and assembling the mechanical structure of the robot. The build team also calculates the designs' feasibility, such as speed and torques asserted on the motor given certain situations. They also have to make sure that every design adheres to the guidelines set by the game rules.

Controls Team

The Controls Team is the brain of our team. They are the ones that deeply understand the innards of the robot. They do all the wiring and connections as well as the programming. Also, they created the operator interface so that the drivers will be able to use it intuitively.

Admin Team

The Administration team is in charge of unifying "The Discobots" by creating the team's image, as well as developing a website so that all members are up to date with the events going on. Also, they are in charge of documenting and photographing the process of building the robot. In addition, they plan outreach activities in hopes of spreading science and technologies to other students.
