2009 Goals

These are our year long goals, written down to ensure that we do not forget what we have set out to do.

Prepare and submit our Chairman's entry
Work on a newly designed website
Finalize the design concept and build working prototypes by week 3
Recruit new members
Keep the robot on or under the weight limit
Paint the robot a powder blue
Name the robot
Buy more tools to improve our infrastructure
Make sure graduating seniors are going to college
Do everything that we can do
Have a groovy time while doing it

2008 Lessons Learned

We ran into some problems during the 2008 build season, and thankfully, we learned from them. These are some of the things, and maybe reminders to onlooking teams, that we learned this past year.

Prototype the design concept early in the season
Participate in another robotics competition in the Fall to train the new members
Measure twice, cut once
Make sure that there are members left after the seniors leave that know how to program
Finish drive train within the first two weeks of build season
The school should have power tools, so the mentors don't have to bring them from their home
